About Me

Victor and Amanda serving with Crossroads in Mexico.

I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and graduated in 2010 from Indiana Wesleyan University with degrees in both Spanish and Photography. It was during my college years that I began to serve in Piedras Negras, Mexico, as a summer intern with CrossRoads Missions.

Once I graduated, I moved to Piedras and served as an English and art teacher in a private Christian school (Colegio Libertad). Two years later (2012), Victor and I got married.

In 2013, we decided to come up north to the Chicagoland area. It truly was a blessing to spend time with family, learn English (Victor), play in the snow, and be involved with our favorite Spanish-speaking church (Village Bible Church El Camino)! I continued to serve with CrossRoads on a very part-time basis, and we took several trips to Piedras throughout the year, as our jobs allowed.

Since 2015, I am working with CrossRoads Missions as the Director of Operations for our field in Piedras Negras. For more information on what my role is, click here. I would LOVE to sit down and chat with you sometime. Get in contact with me here, and let me know when would work best for you! Thank you for your genuine interest.
